Well, I opened this thread up at TAFOP and it went alright.
To first let you know, The Goonies is the name of my clan. I currently have:
Me
Glalie87
WhiteDragon551
N-Gaged (Vampire)
TSS
in, from TAFOP.
Basically, here is my post from TAFOP to explain this clan.
Hmm, with the advent of the ever popular IRC and its growth exponentially, and not to mention the Italian and Brazillian nub clans, I only thought it a good time to start a serious clan for the, uh, "outcasts" should I say.
To explain the whole "outcast" subtitle, its like, I'm a NBer. But I don't feel accepted by most of the other vets...and I guess its partially because I don't spend half my day on the program. That, and I am not a previous BOTTER, so its kinda hard to find consistent members that not only talk to me but become a friend. It appears to me that the IRC/Botter crossovers and the fervent NB users (IE Anna Chansey, who is on every day) have taken themselves and formed a little cliche. While there are the select few ones who talk, and then there are ones who outcast themselves on purpose (Gara seems to me like a loner), generally, I don't feel accepted by the majority of the NB/Botter vets.
So, if that sounds familiar to you, join the Goonies-ONB. Nothing too special, just like a brotherhood, I guess.
Do note tho, while I'm not asking for anything like extreme loyalty, don't join just because you want to join a clan. Join because you really feel outcast from the rest.
Other than that, good day.
