I was wondering, Rayquaza has a get rate of -10%, and other pokemon has similar rates, like Groudon at -30%...

Whats that mean?

Maybe you have a better chance of getting them. If not then i dont know.

Probably the rate of the percentage of the chances of getting them to join ya. However, it'd probably take SOMETIME to get them. Took me 34 tries for a Shroomish.....and that amount is in dungeon passings. @_@

That's the chance of them joining your rescue team. So let's take Rayquaza, that's -10%, a base percentage. If you're at a high level, you get a bonus percent:

Level 1- 29 = 0.0%
Level 30- 39 = 5.0%
Level 40- 49 = 7.5%
Level 50- 59 = 10.0%
Level 60- 69 = 12.5%
Level 70- 79 = 15.0%
Level 80- 89 = 17.5%
Level 90-100 = 24.0%

So if you're level 90, you get a bonus of 24%. 24% + -10% means that you have a 14% chance of getting Rayquaza at level 90 and above.

There's also an item called a Friend Bow that increases your chances by an additional 10%. So at level 90 and above which gives you 24% and a Friend Bow at 10% = 34%. Rayquaza at -10%, means you have a 24% chance of capturing it with a level 90 or above Pokemon plus the Friend Bow attached.

So the highest percentage you can get for groudon is 4%. That sucks.

Just go back to the same place you battled the legendary the first time.

Friend Bow is at Mt. Faraway, on the 30th floor in a locked door (need the key item to open it).

So I assume you get this Key somewhere throughout the story since you didn't tell me where the key is. Or is the key item a random item?

You'll find it eventually once you get to that point of the game. But Keys are found at Solar Cave and Western Cave, it's not difficult to find.

Yeah, I kind of estimate that this is going to take at least 50+ battles with them to get them on your side...

They sure didn't make this easy...

Well, they are *legends* after all, they would not live up to there title of they were easy ;). And since you are a pokemon battling a pokemon you don't have the benfit of being a trainer with six pokemon to use and a master ball like before ;)

Well for those that missed it, there's the answer.
