Charizard. It has the advantage being a Flying type, plus it's my favorite of the two.

Charizard, its flying attacks is 2 times + STAB towards Blaziken, and Blaziken's earthquake can't hurt it!

Charizard. Flying has an advantage over Fighting. Blaziken might stand a chance if he knew Rock Slide through breeding. Also, Charizard is way bigger and cool looking.

Obviously Charizard. Since its a flying type too, it overpowers Blaziken's fighting type.

I gotta go with the crowd on this one. Charizard would most certainly win. The outcome of the anime battle between Ash's Charizard and Harrison's Blaziken was just... crap. :P

I picked Charizard because he would win for sure! Not only does he have a Flying type which is strong against Blaziken's fighting type, but he looks way better than the Pokémon who looks like a person in a Halloween chicken costume. No offense Blaziken fans.

Charizard's a flying type. Blaziken is a fighting type. That alone will pretty much decide the outcome. Charizard could use earthquake too if it wanted. The only hope for Blaziken is rockslide which I doubt it would last long enough to use it. Plus there's a chance rockslide would miss.

your not the only one i like Blaziken, he looks cooler to me, charizard is big and fat (no offence) witch means hes slower and Blaziken is faster, he can kick hard with hes long legs and dodge charizards mostly slow attacks, of course in the gameboy game you take turns on attacking so Charizard would win in but in real life id think Blaziken would win :cool:

You are supposed to compare Blaziken and Charizard as in their uses and stats, not compare them to each other. Don't just say "CHARIZARD IS A BIRD TYPE SO IT BEATS BLAZIKEN'S FIGHTING TYPE". That's stupid, it's like comparing Magikarp with Charizard: Magikarp is stronger because it's a WATER type and Charizard is a FIRE type.

Charizard is more useful, even if you dont compare it by their type.

Quake = 2x Super Effective on Blaziken.

Rock Slide = 4x Super Effective on Charizard.

who the yams care Charizard is faster when it wont OHKO blaziken? blaziken could rock slide it and leave charizard to die on the next turn by using quick attack. don't say "omg which idiot would put quick attack on blaz", because if you have a sense of strategy, you'd know quick attack, is in fact, one of the most useful moves in history. and no, i'm not going to continue blabbering something nobody would bother about.

Also, i've took effort to calculate damage.

Charizard's Earthquake on Blaziken:

Maximum Damage(Not Critical): 191

Average Damage(Not Critical): 342

Maximum Damage(Critical): 370

Blaziken has a maximum 364 HP. Meaning it would be like 6 out of a few hundred chance that EQ would OHKO blaziken.

The main reason is because Charizard is a Flying type and Blaziken is a Fighting type pokemon.
