help how can i catch latias on pokemon emereld!!!!

well first you have to register it in your pokedex by going to like muavile city and go to the daycare center. go in and go out, look in the grass. keep doing that until you find it

second get a golbat with mean look level 45 or a trapinch also at leats level 45

then hit it till it is in the yellow or if you can the red

use dive ball or timer ball if you are gonna make a long fight.

actually trapinch does not work and in emerald when your mum asjed you choose a coulour did you pick red or blue

actually it does if you pick the one with arena trap other than that just to be sure try golbat or something...

Nope, it doesn't work because Latias/Latios has the Levitate ability with means they are not affected by Arena Trap.

Your best bet is to move between two routes, one with a small grass patch. Around Mauville is good. Just check the grass (use a Repel if you want to keep other Pokemon away). If you don't come across Latias soon, then go out and into the route, and search again. Eventually you'll come across it. If you have a Masterball then you should probably use it, but if not, try getting a Pokemon with Mean Look, like pokeman said, to trap it and then you can weaken it. Ultra Balls are probably the best to use.
