About PreReleases?

I have one question, I'm gonna be going to the FireRed/LeafGreen PreReleases coming soon. I've won a Hidden Legends one before, but I've been having problems. The thing I want to know is how much Energy should be in the 40 card deck, I went 20 Energy and 20 Pokemon and still won. But I think it should be less than that...what do you guys think? :)

I Think the half and half is very good. u should stick

18-20 is about what you want, any less and you'll run into problems of getting the right type. If you have good enough trainers though, 17-18 could potentially work; the FR/LG set is supposed to have some cool trainers, and a lot of them. Good luck at the tournament!

Yea, that's the range I go for also, about 18-20. But it also depends on the deck you have. Like you said, depending on the trains, as well as the Pokemon, your need of energy cards depends on stuff like that.

I usually go for the 18-20 range... usually 18 just so I have room for monsters/evos/trainers. I don't do the TCG anymore so... I hve never been to a tourney b4... I wish I had gone to one before.

I thought it was 60 cards? I do 20-20-20.
