Hey guys I need help on this decision. Ive got all the strong pokes from my Sapphire cartridge (all around level 70). Im thinking of trading them to my Ruby and restarting with all 3 starters (trading and things) on Sapphire. Then I would trade them back on. Would you say its worth it if I'm a bit bored with my game at the moment?

I guess so. All three starters are very powerful. Having all three on your team would make it VERY powerful, game-wise.

Worst part of starting over is having to catch poochyenas, zigzagoons and taillows for the next week+ to trade, and until you level up and beat enough gym leaders you can control your good pokes and make them happy again!
The worst was when I restarted and had pokes sitting in pokemon box. I couldn't get to them until I caught, what, like 100 pokemon in-game. :dazed: Oh I was MAD.
Best part about starting over is at least there's no pressure to complete "the quest", other than kicking gym leaders so you can control your old team.
I do it. But it sure is boring for a week or so.

yeah starting with the rubbish pokemon is totally dumb like on red,and blue you had to use weedle it annoyed me but it's actually great because then you have a challenge.

I think it's up to you, really.
The upsides and downsides have already been laid out for you.
The main question is, do you have too many Pkmn to trade over and not enough money or time to catch all the useless Pkmn to use as "placeholders"?

It's funny because this debate isn't at all an issue in GSC with 2 of the 3 starts almost completely suck, and 1's UU calibur (Meganium)
Anyhow, if you really need 3 sweeper types, go for it. Blaziken is a good blisskarm counter though

Starter pokemons are the best in the game!
With my Sceptile i defeated Groudon with 1 heat!
+ It has really good moves
I dont know why every1 says that torchick is the best starter but i think the best is treecko
PS: Sorry for spelling

yeah mudkip is the best. None of them are the best. They all have they're strenght's and weakness. Swampert has 4X weakness to ground, and from my knowledge, Blaziken has five weaknesses.

yeah does swampert get hurt by thunder i forgot i don' think so since he's also a ground type. He's half ground, so he's immune to Electric attacks. We can stop posting here now, HC made his desicion, and that's all he wanted.
