Easy evolution!(no EV's though)

This guide works by putting your pokemon that you want to evolve, in the daycare. After that, switch to the breeding center poketch and go to the right side of Solaceon. Keep on going up and down through route 210 and 209. Get the pokemon 1 level before it evolves. after that, take the pokemon out, and train it at route 210 until it evolves. Easy evolution!

Not particularly useful; using the straight line through Solaceon is how I hatch my eggs which I discovered a few weeks ago. You also don't need to stop a level before it evolves. It doesn't matter how many levels past it's evolution it is, it will still evolve. Not to mention, as you say, the pokémon will get no EVs, thus making it weaker.
