Ok, it's time. This will take place for the rest of March and end promptly on the 31st.

To enter, submit $3000 for one ticket. You are allowed only one ticket. You have all month to get $3000; shouldn't be too hard.

One person will win the sum of the money divided by 3.
ex. 3 people enter, that's $9,000 total. Divide by 3, winner gets $3,000. woohoo! The more that enter, the more money there is to win.

Entered so far:

Well I can see why there are so many page views on this but only one person signing up. It's because people will only sign up when they see alot of others because they will be losing their money if they participate in the lottery with a low amount of people participating. You should know guys that nothing works without help. So I guess I'll be the 2nd guinea pig and sign up :susp: . I had 11,500, so now I have 8,500. *takes ticket and puts it in underwear* :hungry:

03-12-2005, 04:59 PM
You make a good ponit Dap, I might sign up when I get the money.

Isn't a lottery for a price instead of money better?

i've been trying and trying but i can't get aim back up and working. it closes whenever i try IMing someone or they IM me. bah. stupid aim.

anyway, i found a way to randomize the choice. i used seven pennies, each a different year, shook them in a bag, and picked one out.
1993 was chosen and that was the forth date. and forth from the list is....

please post to collect your $10,500.

follow up--- this lottery didn't go as well as i planned. :sleepy: i thought more people would enter. does anyone have and comments for if/when there is a next lottery.

04-07-2005, 02:10 PM
Bah Magare the lucky one again :susp:

Well it might be a good idea to do it in a chatroom so you could build up suspense or the like... in summer people are more active.

Rats!!! so close

04-12-2005, 09:33 PM
I won????

Cool. I'll take my prize then

04-12-2005, 10:43 PM
You could give out the whole amount of money to the winner, as 21,000 is gonna be more attractive to people than 10,500.

04-18-2005, 03:34 PM
I would decrease the cost of entrance and increase the return.

Por examplo:

If it was $1500 to enter with 50% of the profits returning to the winner.

It a) drives sales from that bigger return
b) Allows those folks (like me at the time) who couldn't just risk $3000 on a 1/7 chance of a 300% return.
