Being the Redskins fan I am, this is truly saddening. He was my favorite player on the Redskins, and has been ever since he was drafted. When I played High School football, I watched his hard hits on film, and wanted to be like him. Early in his career, he had run-ins with the police, with charges with behavior, and firearms. He's also been fined numerous times for late-hits. But ever since his daughter was born, he turned into a new man, hasn't been fined since.

It's a very saddening day for the Washington Redskins, and their fans.

R.I.P Sean Taylor. 1983 - 2007...

I'm not a fan of the Washington Redskins, but this isn't about football anymore. This is about the life of a 24 year old man cut down in his prime. It just doesn't seem right. He was a great saftey, one of the hardest hitting in the leauge and he leaves behind a 1 year old daughter and a fiance. I truley feel for everybody, and I will mourn the death of a great football player. I surely hope they find his killer.

Rest In Peace Sean Taylor.

That's terrible, he was one of the best and hardest-hitting safeties in the league and he was only 24. I'm almost positive he would have had a long and successful career. Makes me mad that he died for no apparent reason. I hope that his family will be alright.

R.I.P. Sean Taylor

What a horrible way to go out, may god rest his soul, but if you think is sad read kevin blackistones article on aol.com about his death, that is even worse. This should be example to all that we can all die like him at 24 or 87, we just have to enjoy life while it lasts, and this last part goes out anybody who tries to hurt themselves, WHY???? do you want to die, or be gone, just think of all the things you would miss if you died.

That's scary to die like that so young...life is precious. I always make sure to be on extra guard when I ride the bike at night, you just never know what could happen around the corner. That's sad for the Redskins.

He was on the radio at around September about death. About how he wasn't afraid.

He died as a noble young man. His actions saved his daughter and wife.

Too bad a Cardinals player stated that it wasn't a random robbery. :[

There's a lot about the case that turn Law and Order like...like there was a quote saying that there are a lot of bad characters in that area of Florida and you got to be careful in who you associate with. It seemed like Sean Taylor had to be careful of association. But it also could turn out that somebody didn't like him for it doesn't make sense to have one robbery, and then a week later, a murder out of it. Sometimes, the perpetrator that did the crime could try and turn it into a robbery so that the perpetrator can run form the law. That's why investigations have to be careful, and sometimes, you got to outmaneuver the perpetrator.

The Cardinal dude said that a lot of people had been targeting him for some time now...

Said that there was a lot of envious and jealous people talking to Sean.

I was never a Redskins fan, in fact I have disliked them for some time now... but I still feel really bad. He was a great player and my prayers go out to his family. R.I.P.

It wasnt a robbery. Why would the robber go upstairs break open a locked door, fire, cut the phonelines, then just leave without taking anything. Antoine Rolle is right, it wasnt a robbery. And it also sucks because he finally straightended out his life
