My opinion:
Pros-
New Pokemon in...3D  !
New RP type mode !
Cons-
NO RENTAL POKEMON !!!
NO FREE BATTLES!!!
NO ANNOUNCER!!! (now I have to buy that "Official Pokemon handbook 4", "IF" I can find it without paying $107!)
My pokemon have to be reregistered every time I LV um up instead of (PS) Game goes in slot, slot thing goes in paddle, tern game on and ALL of my Party AND box pokemon are useable!
Yeah thats what I think. For what "I" LOVED about the old games, the cons are Far out weighting the pros :wall:.

I haven't played it yet because I left my 'cube down at my grandmother's house and I won't get to play it until this weekend but just by reading through these posts I know a few pros:
No announcer (the announcer gets on my nerves)
You see the Pokémon trainers from behind the Pokés (more realistic)
RPG mode
Get S/R Pokés on it
It's like a new Ruby/Sapphire version except for cube and no GymLeaders
I'll give more oppinions once I get to play my game.

actually in the second town you get to or whatever i mean second place on the map. There is this thing in the middle of the second floor and you can challenge a person that says he/she is the gym leader ( couldn't tell gender) and i tried to battle him/her and got killed cus he/she has 6 lv 40 and above pokes and mine were at 40. LOl . I don't know if that is really a gym leader though.
I thinks its an awsome game

1 I know he go on my nerves to but 1, you can tern it off  , 2, he tells you how to say all the Pokemon's names! Which is why I Now have to get the Pokemon handbook #4!
2No, Not more real. Sorry but I really don't like the ppl. They stand there and do nothing  , plus, when your Pokemon gets nocked out, the Pokemon gets recall'd from behind the trainer   !

It is more real with the pplz being there. I said it's more real with the pplz being there not the whole game itself. I need to play the game before I decide that. And when I said I didn't like the announcer I wasn't trying to dis you. I was just saying he got on my nerves and I didn't like taking the time to go turn him off so that's why I hated it even more. But you are right. I'm kind of glad he was there because I found out a whole lot of names that I thought I was pronouncing em right but I wasn't. x__x Other than that tho the announcer was a dud.
I like the pplz standing there!

Found more stuff not so good  . When your Pokemon first enters a battle, well, remember how on PS they had those cool voices? Like Arcanine: Arrr-oo!, and Snubble: Snu-BUM!, or how bout Umbreon: Gerr-rah!, Well...There all gone! Now you can hardly here them over the music! and they used the same old GB voices  ! Skitty: Wee-oo, or Marill: Dee-do. I think the next game like this Nintendo should take more time and re-do all the old Pokemons images, and re-input all the cool old voices.

I think its an awesome game, no doubt, but there were a few things I was dissapointed in.
First of all, I miss the announcer!
Second, what happened to all those cute mini-games from Pokemon Stadium? I loved those!
And third, there is no actual speaking in either the battle mode or story mode. Voices are one thing that I like about Gamecube games, this one should have them.
But Pokemon Colosseum definately has improved graphics, sound, etc. and, best of all, it's very fun!

Id say 95/100. It loses 5 for no rental pokemon.
P.s I have the game and this is what I rate it.
I think they should have had CPU battles too... that and the reason above make my rating 98/100 cause i really like it still!!!!!

Pros:
No announcer
less crappy animation
RPG mode
in RPG mode, you get to take other ppl's pokemon, even if it's only the shadow ones (I'm justifying that pokemon is going in a new direction)
you star as a renegade (that's uber cool :P)
no rentals
Cons:
crappy AI
crappier sidekick
no rentals
a solid 8/10

Are you kidding on the sidekick? The sidekick is cool, she looks like an older version of Misty. I don't know if the guy can look like an older version of Ash, but who knows? One can say after failing to win the big contests, Ash decides to be a secret agent like character and help free the Pokemon that have been kidnapped. WHat the sidekick wears is cool and daring. She points the dark Pokemon with ease. Boy, can't wait to get my game soon, the reading material is exciting enough but it'll be great to use it as a map without getting lost.
