Half of what makes a team is their damn moves. I have to see what moves you're going to use before I can tell how your team will fare. Without movesets, I can't see important things like team synergy and all. Harumph. Haul your butt over to smogon and pick a few sets out and paste it in, then I'll get back to you.

I like many of my team's mons to be female where appropriate, thank you very much.

Your moveset also decrees your EV spread as well, by the way. This is important for: Salamence, Dragonite, Kingdra, Garchomp, Lucario and Slaking, as they have more than one viable set with different EV spreads for each. Alakazam doesn't need an alternative spread because it's always 252/252/4 with Timid. That's what Alakazam always does: Outspeed and beat things around.

Just take my advice and pick your moveset first. :/

There, link.

Also, before you train up the team in your game, try it out on shoddy battle too to make sure it's solid and you know how to play your mons. :P

Learnable =/= viable. Alakazam learns Focus Punch, but there's no way in hell you're using it over Psychic, right?

Smogon basically gives you movesets that are usable in today's metagame along with their EV spreads. Quick and good reference. >_> These movesets obviously include moves that the Pokemon in question can learn.

Kingdra doesn't really absorb Ice that well by the way, I would seriously suggest you carry a Mamoswine. Find set yourself. >_> Mamoswine resists Ice and butthurts the opponent's dragons if they manage to set up a sweep against you. Maybe this can be your elusive last slotter.

I know Kingdra's stats, but you can't rely on one mon to soak all the Ice hits when it doesn't even resist Ice, and any smart guy is going to pack a Dragon move to remove your Kingdra, therefore it's vital you have another resist. Mamoswine is the best choice if you want an offensive option. If not try Blissey, Bronzong, or even Snorlax. If you're brave enough, take Azumarill. :P

#149
Dragonite @ Yache berry (i have exactly 297 of those berrys  )
EVs:

252 DEFENCE
6 SPEED

Moveset:
Fire Punch
Ice beam
Roost
Dragon Rush

(he will be my main)

It's not a good idea to lead with a bulky mon IMO. You should try using SpecsMence as your lead or something. Then turn this into the Dragon Dancing set. With Yache, you can probably get in two Dragon Dances for sure, and rip through your opponent's team.

#373
Salamence @ yache berry
EVs:
252 ATTACK
6 DEFENCE
252 SPEED

Moveset:
Dragon Pulse
Zen Headbutt
Crunch
Fire Blast

(Primary Physical Sweeper)

Like I said, change to SpecsMence and start with this.

#230
Kingdra @ (i dont know yet)
EVs:
86 ATTACK
172 DEFENCE
252 SP DEFENCE

Moveset:
Dragon Pulse
Signal Beam
Iron Head
Double Team

(ANTI-ICE tanker)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

God, please don't use this. At least use the Rain Dance sweeper or something.

#445
Garchomp @ yache berry
EVs:
252 ATTACK
6 DEFENCE
252 SPEED

Moveset:
Dragon Rush
Fire Blast
Earthquake
Stone Edge

(Secundary Physical Sweeper)

Use the Swords Dancer set plox, unless you want to go with Chain Chomp to eliminate physical walls.

#065
Alakazam @ (i dont know yet)
EVs:
6 defence
252 SP ATTACK
252 SPEED

Moveset:
Psychic
Recover
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball

(Primary Special Sweeper)

Zam is too frail to be able to use Recover. Put on Choice Specs/Life Orb and have Focus Blast over Psychic to kill Dark-types. It also kills Ice-types. :P

#448
Lucario @ (dont know yet)
EVs:
129 ATTACK
129 SP AttACK
252 SPEED

Moveset:
Extreme Speed
Dragon Pulse
Auro Sphere
Dark Pulse

(Secundary OVERALL sweeper)

-headbang-

Pick SpecsLuke or SD Luke plox. Stop killing my brain cells. D:

I still say Mamoswine is best in the last slot.

The reason I recommend those Pokemon are because:

1. Mamoswine for reasons already mentioned.

2. Blissey will sponge Ice Beam like nothing (or any special move, for that matter) and hit back with status or Flamethrower.

3. Snorlax has high HP and also carries Thick Fat as well as having some Defense. Also has decently high Attack to butthurt people. If the other guy predicts and hits with Fighting move you'll be in for hurt though.

4. Bronzong resists Ice, and also has excellent support options to hurt things with. Gyro Ball also eliminates Weavile, which will be trying to Ice Shard your Dragons. :P Also resists Dragon, and thus a fine choice for defensive measures.

5. Azumarill has Thick Fat, and by being Water it resists Ice anyway. If you run a Belly Drum set with Huge Power as your ability instead of Thick Fat you can mow down quite a number of your opponent's team, leaving the door open for the Dragons to beat down. Your choice.

Yeah. :x

Alright first off you cant have that many yache berrys.... standard rules has an item clause, you can only have one of any item other than leftovers... second that team is... horrible... changes in bold...

hm
euh
"i" have my own league? hehe
and i don't mean the one listed in my siggy we am holding one in my region (Belgium, <region name>).
and we have a list of rules that i (and the rest of the staff) has put together and we allow all items to be held, doesn't matter what quantity. :D
last summer i got owned like 700 times of the 900 trainers that challenged me :dazed: (its an entire region... like 2000 trainers enter every time :D)
and since we hold it every season (summer, winter, ...) id like to keep my reputation of being the final frontier to the finals intact!!!
the first 3 times i used a team containing multiple ubers, but 2 events ago that went wrong and a "clan" of uber-wielding+Ev training pro's entered  we adjusted the rules and i kinda failed so thats why i lost 700/900... :silenced:
so...
i can use whatever items i want.
cuz each gym leader makes his own rules... that have to be approved by the other gym leaders and the staff :D
and
what is it about my team that is horrible?
plz explain :susp:
again;
plz note:
i AM a dragon type gym leader==>4 dragon type !MINIMUM!

ok sorry ^^
my mistake
no need to say the fword :p

okok
starting to agree... but Mamoswine's stats dont really show such a good future if i may say.
what is it about Mamoswine thats so good? he resists ice ok... i know THAT now but what else is so special about it?

Blissey looks pretty good if you look at the stats... it would be become extremely dangerous for me if they used a non-special attack using pkmn though.

But iv been searching around some... what about infernape? i know hes a starter but he does have high atk, sp atk ánd speed! plus he is fire => half ice damage :D and hes like thé best (non-uber) fire type i can find. (looking at the sp atk and speed)

Steels more defensive... i am aiming on going on the offense. :D

and Water normaly is a defense to but maybe i can find one thats a little more offensive :p
searching...
floatzel? good attack ánd speed.
i cant find anny others in the water-type :/

when i compare these 2 i see that Buizel has a lower special defence so that would give him some disadvantaged over Ice types.
i am sticking with my infernape then :D

would an infernape be ok?
EVs:
252 SP ATTACK
252 SPEED
6 ATTACK

?

Infernape or Blissey both seem pretty good to me atm.
i can take Blissey to block all kinds of special attack (ice!)
ór i can take Infernape and try to sweep em off the field before they can even harm me :D
what do you thinks best?

I wouldn't recommend Infernape, since you don't have any defenses to fall back on at the moment. You need at least a tank or a wall in your last slot to soak hits. If you really want full offense, I'll recommend tanks. Blissey is still a top choice though, but a word of caution: Beware Garchomp. Carry Ice Beam and Thunder Wave, and beware of opposing Garchomps. If Garchomp sets up against Blissey, you've lost the match.

Mamoswine has obscene attack, a lot of HP and okay defenses on both sides, and possesses a lethal weapon in Ice Shard. With Choice Band equipped, Ice Shard easily OHKOs opposing Dragons like Garchomp and Salamence in one blow before they can even touch Mamoswine. Other Ice-types will also have problems with Mamoswine's Earthquake, which will stomp the crap out of anything that doesn't resist. If it comes down to pure power, Avalanche will tear through a lot of things if Mamoswine is slower, which it usually is.

Metagross is also an option, with okay HP, high Def, and pretty okay Sp. Def. Metagross will soak Ice and Dragon hits with its resist and smash back with Bullet Punch, Earthquake, or Meteor Mash. Thunderpunch too. Ice Punch if you must. Beware Earthquake though.

Ah yes, one suggestion that could go over something already in your team: Gyarados. It's semi-Dragon. :D Considering you're having Kingdra run Rain Dance, Gyarados is an excellent choice. BulkyGyara will stop the opponent from setting up on you with Taunt and DDing right back in their face, before smashing through with Waterfall or Aqua Tail. With Rain, the Water STAB can be boosted to epic porportions. :D

You know, a quarter of the mons I recommend in RMTs, I haven't even played before. :x But the numbers say they work, so they work.

I'm not that good, I'd personally say Diarago and Gofre are much better than me. :D

hmmm
metagros wouldn't be so good looking at his special defenses, you dó have a point about infernape.
i don't think ill take mamoswine because he kinda is slow :p
so i think ill go with Gyarados then.
does that sound good then?
il replace my last slot (Lucario) with Gyarados
EVs:
252 attack
252 speed
4 hp

I was kinda leaning more on the BulkyGyara EVs: 156 HP / 108 Atk / 100 Def / 144 Spe, but whatever floats your boat, really. Be warned that full offensive means that you still don't have any hit-takers though, so you have to replace Zam.

Actually you should just replace Zam; Zam does nothing for this team. MixApe can go here to wallbreak, or you can pick another defensive option over Alakazam.

I'm not going to take my time correcting all the odd things I see on this team, but if you want an anti-Ice tank, Bronzong and Empoleon are both incredible at taking Ice attacks. Moreover, given their tanking/walling abilities (accredited to their exorbitant amount of resistances) and support options, they'll do well to support this team, as it's primarily on the offensive. Given that Alakazam is probably going to die switching in, or will have to wait for something else to die to switch in otherwise, I suggest you take him off for one of the two I just mentioned. At least Lucario can come in on Rock, Dark, Ice, and some occasional Dragon attacks.

Mixed Infernape, but if you're not using BulkyGyara then you shouldn't use it over Zam.

So, replace Zam with either: Bronzong, Empoleon, Metagross, or MixApe if you feel brave enough.

MixApe's EVs are set in stone. 24 Atk / 252 SpA / 232 Speed. Moveset is changable though. Check smogon for set, I have to go now.
