Mostly the people around me.

I had a bad reputation for misusing and mispronouncing words when i was little. XD

That evolved into a large vocabulary, and i don't think i have to explain why if you can connect the dots.

I've used words before that I didn't even think existed. Why isn't there a gibberish option?

Family.

They taught me the basic & building block words I needed to communicate with others, and learn other new words from school and conversations.

It'd be a confusing conversation if I was never taught "a" "the" "or" ect.

My parents didn't speak English very well so I learnt most of it from school.

I mean, I started learning only a few months after I turned one, but it's a combination of a lot of things.
I learned a lot of my lexical vocab here, as well. People around me was probably the dominant thing, though...

I learned to speak english before i could read english so what's the point is saying i learnt english from an english dictionary before i could read english because I learnt english from my english family in england
