Is there a way you could have known,
that you could have seen,
that through all my love and caring,
that we could have been?
Before we parted ways,
I reminded you: "'Till Death do us part."
I would have stayed with you, by your side.
At your leave, I sat and I cried.
You pulled the ring from your finger
and thrust it into my hand.
You did the only thing that I can't.
It tore me apart and made me sad.
I wouldn't want to live if you didn't love me.
With you I had the feeling of being myself.
With you I was free.
But I guess this is how you don't want me to be.
I threw myself off the cliff,
into the river below.
My lungs swelled up and flooded,
and I choked out...
'Till Death do us part, that's what this was about.
