True, events have a 1/8000 chance of being shiny just like regular pokemon. However, none of them were with everstones, You can just press B during evolution to stop the evolution.

1. Do you have that 4/1 set? That was recently hacked. Some events cannot be shiny.

2. Not at the event. So it evolved. And I don't believe you can cancel trade evolution with B, doesn't work for me.

Thing is, there is no known legit Jeremy Haunter. Chances are this is the hacked Relaxed one. Jeremy hacks are easy to spot because each one had a set nature and IVs.
