Default [[SU]]The Battle for Mother Earth

[[Dammit, this RPG is too good, and it keeps dying out. Let's make it work this time people!]]

Good side - Brilliant Sun - Lead by Arceus - Allied with Dialga, Palkia, and Cresselia

Evil side - Eternal Abyss - Lead by Giratina - Allied with Darkrai, Mewtwo, and Deoxys

Prologue:

There once was nothing in the vast universe. Nothing, but a single churning mass of chaos. Eventually, over countless centuries upon centuries, a large, pure-white egg formed in the complete middle of the mess. When the time was finally at the right, the egg hatched in the Original One, Arceus. From that Original One, was six, not five, as the current legends claim there was. They were the power of Time, Dialga; the power of Space, Palkia; the power of Emotion, Mesprit; the power of Knowledge, Uxie; the power of Willpower, Azelf; and lastly, the power of Death, Giratina. From those six, time ticked, space expanded. Both humankind and Pokemon were created, and given emotion, knowledge, and willpower. The last thing was death itself. Land formed itself, though all was a mess. Life was good, though, as other Legendary Pokemon were made by the Original One, to restore and keep balance when ever unkempt. They balanced out land and water, and watched from the skies. They roamed the lands and the skies. The protected the land, they protected nature. They floated, fought, danced. They lived life happily together. After they had done all in their power they could do to shape the earth, the six great ones took great sleep. But through the sleep of one of the mighty ones, came dark thoughts, ones that chilled to the bone. Thoughts that would ultimately change the world forever.

In his great, mighty cave, hidden from the rest of the world, the embodiment of Death, Giratina, slept, and as he did, he thought long and hard. As he slept, Giratina was still able to keep his eye on the world like he had been born to do. As he did, he watched time and time again the other Legendary using their powers. Soon, Giratina grew quite jealous of this. After many years of living in anguish, Giratina personally confronted Arceus. The large Pokemon demanded an explanation to why he only controlled such minor powers. Arceus simply replied by saying he chose Giratina's abilities for a reason, and felt that the dragon was the only Pokemon powerful and responsible enough to control the powers. This made Giratina all the more mad. He returned to his cave, and sealed him off from the rest of the world. Over countless of being alone, Giratina stumbled upon something in the depths of his own mind. He thought - No, he realized - that with no Arceus to govern the world, the world would revert back to it's original state. And in the mighty chaos, he would be the one ruler, the one who created all land, and brought his mighty law to all who served and lived in his domain. He dreamed of the day when he would rule all of that darkness, where no one opposed him, where he was king; was god. Giratina devised a devious plan to rally up troops of the shadow; to rally them up, and ultimately destroy Arceus in one final showdown where he resides; the Beginning Dimension. And, fortunately for him, so did three other powerful, and yet sadly, evil Pokemon; Darkrai, Mewtwo, and Deoxys.

Plot:

Giratina hatched yet another idea. While he was recruiting combatants for his shadow army, he would contact the three, and see if they would make a pact to ally up with each other. Ready to depart, Giratina left his cronies to watch over his cave, and took flight to Darkrai's island. Little did he know, Arceus was watching him. As Giratina flew over the caves and foothills of Sinnoh, his shadow left an eerie mark on the land. Soon, in about a day, Giratina made his way onto the island Darkrai resided on. Darkrai had already been recruiting a few warriors for his own personal doings. For over a month now they have been landing sneak attacks on Canalave City, the closet city to Newmoon Island. When Giratina informed him of his plans, all Darkrai could do was smirk. He told Giratina to go off and inform Deoxys, and then Mewtwo. Meanwhile, Darkrai bolstered his forces by corrupting the minds of the other Pokemon that inhabited the island. Giratina traveled all the way to Hoenn's Mossdeep City, and then Kanto's Cerulean City, and informing both Deoxys and Mewtwo of his destructive plans. They too told Giratina to go fly off, back to Sinnoh, while they would control minds of defenseless. For, Giratina created a power, a power which allowed mental domination of the body, that made Pokemon their slaves, and shared that power with the others. All while Arceus watched them all.

On one cold November night, around midnight, several months after Giratina told of his plan, the plan finally came into action. With everybody having plenty enough warriors, they struck. Giratina attacked Veilstone City, Darkrai crushed Canalave City, Deoxys ambushed Mossdeep, and Mewtwo raided Cerulean. They struck at midnight to insure their victory, but little did they know, they were being watched. Cresselia, being dangerously close to Darkrai, rushed herself to Arceus. As she raced across the waters, the four Legendaries were tearing up and destroying anything that was in their past. Business done within a matter of a few hours, the destructive dark forces left as quickly as the came, leaving nothing but destruction and death in their wake; all part of Giratina's master plan. Cresselia, fearing that she was too late to save the cities, raced as fast as she could. As she reached Mt. Coronet, she found nothing opposing her way to the top of the large mountain. Once she reached the top, she witnessed Arceus confronting Dialga and Palkia about the situation. Arceus knew exactly what the plan was, for he had been watching the whole ordeal for a very long time now. Enraged that one of the very beings he created himself would betray him, he knew it was now time. Arceus' head was filled with all the pain and agony of the Pokemon from the world down below. He walked to the edge of the Beginning Dimension, and as he did, looked at Dialga, Palkia, and Cresselia. He got to the very edge of his domain, and send out a message to all the pure Pokemon left in the world.

"Brave Pokemon warriors, defenders of light, of all nature, and life itself, arise. Your time has come to defeat these beasts, and stop them from overtaking this world, and turning it once again into chaos."

Default Re: [[SU]]The Battle for Mother Earth

Name: Mewtwo
Species: Mewtwo
Gender: Male
Age: ?
Role*: Ranged
Personality: Mewtwo is by no means a nice Pokemon. Cold, calculating, and with a temper to make Groudon look like a tame kitten, few people have crossed him and lived to tell of it. Mewtwo hates everything alive aside from himself, even Giratina, although he knows he doesn't have the power to confront him. Mewtwo's hatered for life came from an event years ago, in which he was savagely attacked by a group of humans and Pokemon. He actually wants to take over Giratina's army and use it for his own plans.
History: Mewtwo is a pokemon cloned from Mew, and modified to be more powerful. Created by Team Rocket to do Giovannis(or however it's spelled) bidding. However, during the harsh training Giovanni put him through, Mewtwo finally got angry enough and escaped, destroying the lab as he did it. Because of it's ability to increase his already amazing psychic powers, Mewtwo often uses the gear that Team Rocket forced him to use. After some time of wandeing, he came to finally hide out in Cerulian(Or however it's spelled) Cave. After a few years of solitude, he was approached by Giratina on assisting him. Because he knew Giratina could help him get rid of everything on the planet, Mewtwo decided to help Giratina out. Because of his vendetta against Team Rocket, Mewtwo personally wants to destroy them, if just to see the looks on their faces when their creation kills them.
Side**: Eternal Abyss.
Other:
Mewtwo has a vendetta against Team Rocket, and wants to crush them personally, which is what he is doing most of the time.
Because of his viciousness, many other Pokemon tend to avoid him, even Darkrai.

[[Metal_sonic, I sent you a PM about it.]]

The Pyro Bros.
Name: Aithne/Basia
Species: Houndoom/Magmortar
Gender: Male/Male
Age: 24/24
Role*: Physical/Ranged
Personality:

Aithne: Though being a Houndoom might give him an assertive and nasty atmosphere, Aithne is a fiery, fun-loving Pokemon. While growing up in a lonelier part of the valley might have reflected upon him, the Houndoom, while playful, can be very stern, and becomes incredibly determined and hard-headed when it comes to completing tasks. However, getting on his angry side often results with a few burn marks. Once he had heard about the vicious attacks on several cities, Aithne set out, along with his best friend, to help put a stop to the mayhem that has ensued over the past couple of days.

Basia: The more aloof and carefree of the two close Pokemon, Basia would rather be sunbathing on a rock than out on some random adventure. He enjoys shooting things with fireballs more than anything, which has allowed him to hone his skills to a fine degree. The Magmortar isn't much of a strategical thinker, and would rather rush headlong into a situation, rather than think it over. Along with his closest friend and his refined skills, Basia set out from the Valley to protect the other Pokemon of the world, even though he hasn't met anybody outside the valley.

History: Though not technically brothers, Aithne and Basia grew up together near some steamy hot springs in a large valley. As it was normal for a Houndour to be active and playful in his or her childhood, Aithne always played with Basia roughly, be it knocking one another into water, scorching another ones berries, or tackling them from behind. Life for them was normal, but each saw the fiery passion in each other, driving themselves to fight better and play harder. Since Aithne and Basia lived in a rather secluded area of the valley, they had little interaction with the others of the valley - ultimately bringing out the natural loner instincts of Aithne, and a brash personality in Basia over the course of their lifetime in the valley.

While their lives were mostly uneventful in the valley, the pair used their free time wisely. Using leftover cloths, leaves and berries from some nearby trees, and anything else they could find, Aithne and Basia constructed several dummies used for fighting practice. One was even designed to withstand the super hot flames that spewed forth from the two Pokemon's mouth. Every few months, Aithne and Basia would spar for the entire day, putting to the test all of the techniques they had learned throughout their countless hours of practice. Aithne, naturally being the stronger of the two, won most of their duels, but that would all change when Basia evolved mid-afternoon in a hot summer day.

After sparring for several hours, Aithne and Basia stood on some rocks that lay within the springs they lived so close to. Both were exhausted, and were ready to finish the fight. Aithne, having a strategy in mind, emitted a foul black cloud of poisonous, plaguing the entire area. He then jumped down into a deeper part of water, and - Basia gagging - shot small embers into the air, which ignited the large cloud of gas. However, Aithne's strategy was not enough to defeat his opponent. Basia sucked in all the fire with his beak like appendage, and with the energy of the blazing cloud of smoke, was able to evolve into a Magmar. Basia, in his new form, called it a draw, and the two retired for the night.

Aithne, however, evolved in a much different way. For many months, the area where the two friends lived was highly unvisited, leaving Aithne and Basia nothing else to do but train constantly. Then, on one lucky day, a Salamence, who acted like an elder in the Valley, came to the small part of the valley with a request. Because he had never been seen before, the Pokemon native to the springs ignored the Salamence's plea, including Basia, though he was still treated with kindness and hospitality. However, Aithne, enthusiastic as ever, was up for the challenge. "Nothing exciting ever happens here. Besides, the reward is too great to pass up." Aithne explained to his life long friend. He recalled what the Salamence had said when he first came along...

"Here me out, friends. I am in search of a brave adventurer to retrieve a precious family heirloom that was stolen from me several years ago. Below the waters of the bubbling spring is a small entrance to a large cavern, filled with the haunting spirits of the ancestors of the valley. In there lies the precious treasure I seek. If anybody would kind enough to go into the cave and bring back the heirloom, I will breath down upon them a sacred flame that would surely fill the Pokemon with great power."

Most of the Pokemon were put off by the Salamence's request, choosing not to interfere with others business; it would've been all if it weren't for Aithne. After three effortless days trying to convince fellow Pokemon to help him, the elder was ready to leave when Aithne caught him before he could go. He spoke with the large dragon, and within several minutes, he was at the entrance to the cave. Aithne recalled the Salamence's words as he swam, remembering hearing how frightening the inhabitants of the cave were. As he walked into the cavern, the Houndour got just a small taste of the horror that dwelled within the den. Aithne scrambled out of the cavern and frantically swam to the surface, having failed the mission.

For many days in a row, Aithne tried to retrieve the precious treasure the Salamence spoke of, each time walking a little further before being scared away. His hope was running dry. Sometimes he wondered if this fabled heirloom was just made up. Before his final attempt at successfully infiltrating the cave, Aithne spoke with the Salamence one last time, asking the large Pokemon why this thing was so important to him. Before he knew it, the young Houndour was learning the history of the valley, how the Pokemon came the live in such a wonderful place, and, most importantly, what made the Salamence want the item so badly. Now, Aithne was determined to bring back the necklace that was so desperately wanted.

The time of day was mid-afternoon, like the time when Basia had evolved. Aithne swam to the bottom of the springs once again and crawled into the opening to the cavern. The ghosts the lived in the cave tried to spook the Houndour like they had time and time again, but this time, Aithne walked proud and defiantly with his head held high. As he ventured farther into the cave, its inhabitants threw everything they had at him. Spectral balls of fire danced about, illuminating the cave. Whispers filled Aithne's head, and still he continued on. Finally, he reached the end, after what seemed to be an eternity. The ghosts, seeing the honor in his heart, transported him back outside, the necklace around him. When Aithne returned to the valley elder, he was overcome with overjoy, and exchanged his family heirloom for the breath of sacred fire promised. Sure enough, the heat from the flames energized Aithne, causing him to evolve.

Hmm... pending. I've spotted several grammatical errors. What color is Kipper? The good side has a name, doesn't it? Sorry if I sound harsh. If you want some help with RPing, just drop me a PM; I've been doing RP's for AGES :P

Name: Hadyn
Species: Infernape
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Role*: Physical
Personality: Hadyn is a very calm, joyful, laid back Pokemon. Through his vigorous training, the Infernape has grown oblivious to most distractions, and always focuses on things with perfect attention. Hadyn, either because of his strength, or because of his strong willed heart, is very confident, and would go into the deepest parts of any war to save his homeland. Hadyn can last in the heart of battles for large amounts of time, as shown trains with his master, a Lucario named Apollo. But, Hadyn has a temper side, and sometimes it shows. Aside from this minor personality dysfunction, Hadyn is a wonderful friend to have around.
History:
Ages 1-6 [Chimchar]:

Hadyn, when he was a Chimchar, was chosen from Professor Rowan's lab to be the starting Pokemon of a trainer. Not wanting to be captured for mindless thinking, he immediately threw a fuss when the beginning Trainer came around to get him. After he had almost injured the Professor, Hadyn saw his chance and escaped. He ran into the wild, and ended fighting countless battles everywhere he went. Hadyn moved by night, and slept by day, though it was very hard to since he was constantly under attack of wild Pokemon. When he was near, Hadyn would rest in a town or city, where he would lazily idle about. Once he would regain his strength by bathing, drinking water, eating Berries either given to him or ones he picked himself, and by resting, Hadyn would set out at dusk, where he would aimlessly find a place he could call home. For the next five years, Hadyn would search for that one special place. And on on very special day, Hadyn experienced the event that would change his life forever, and at the end, give him a home, and a family.

Ages 7-14 [Chimchar/Monferno]

One the day he had turned seven years of age, Hadyn had over heard several people having a discussion about Iron Island, not too far away from Canalave City. This had been in Veilstone, so Hadyn had a long ways to go. He had heard of them speak of a great Lucario who lived on the island, who would take in and raise any disciple hardy enough to live on the island and train with him. On his way there, Hadyn was attacked by rather large Machoke. In that fierce battle, Hadyn finally evolved into a Monferno. With his new found powers, he easily defeated to opposing Machoke. In a few days, Haydn reached Canalave. Well, rather Jubilife. He was faced with a tough dilemma; getting across the water and to Canalave City. During his thinking, he was confronted by a Mantyke, who agreed to carry Hadyn across the water to the city just beyond in exchange for some very rare berries, said to be somewhere in the middle of Sinnoh. With the described image of the berries, Hadyn set out once again into the depths of Sinnoh. For days he searched high and low, until, at last, he found one of the berries described. Carefully plucking it, he wrapped it thrice with large leaves, and raced back to the awaiting Mantyke. As promised, he was transported to Canalave.

Shortly after reaching the small island city, Hadyn heard the unmistakable roar of a large engine. A small ferry was heading out, and was about to leave. Hadyn darted his way to the ship, and reached the dock where it was about to leave. Unfortunately for the Monferno, the ship had departed. So again he ran, this time to a draw bridge in the city. Just to add insult to injury, the bridge had started to go up. But Hadyn continued to climb, and finally, he leaped off the edge into the boat, landing in a large tarp. The didn't actually stop at the island with the Lucario, it just passed by it. So, in a few minutes, the ferry passed by the aisle, and Hadyn leaped from the side, landing with a large thud. The small island held no importance whatsoever - it held not even the significance to be placed on a map. The only thing that stood out was a cave, which Hadyn headed towards. Soon, he met the Lucario he had heard about. He made a deal with him, who was named Apollo, and for the next several years, he lived and trained with his new Lucario master.

Ages: 15-26 [Monferno/Infernape]

Under Apollo, Hadyn went under vigorous training. Apollo first said that the most important thing right now was to get Hadyn to evolve into an Infernape. While training with his master, Hadyn realized that Apollo was nothing that he had expected. In his mind, Hadyn thought of a a mean trainer who barely cared for him, and made him go beyond his physical limits. But no, Apollo was much different. He, for one, cared deeply for his disciple, for the Lucario also ran away from home when he was a small boy. Second, Apollo acted as a father figure to Hadyn, and never trained him beyond Hadyn's limits. After two years of special training, Hadyn finally evolved into an Infernape. "Now, the real training begins." Was what Apollo said the moment Hadyn evolved. Rock smashing, boulder lifting, physical combat, all were the things the Infernape had attempted, and, after a while, perfected. Several more years passed on. Hadyn and Apollo constantly sparred with each other, honing each others skills. Apollo once told Hadyn to come with him to the mainland, where the would spend a few days crafting makeshift dummies and other training objects. Once it had been almost a decade, Apollo told Hadyn that he had learned all that the Lucario could teach him, and it was time to move on. Hadyn, with Apollo being his only family, asked if he could permanently live in the cave. To his dismay, Hadyn was told that he must leave the island for good, for Apollo had to teach more disciples for battles. With a smile on his face, Hadyn said thanks for all the Apollo has done for him, and told him he wished to spar again if they ever got the chance.

Side**: Brilliant Sun
Other: As proclaimed in the Pokedex, Hadyn uses a style of martial arts involving all of his limbs. And although not an original part of the Pyro Bros., Hadyn will be off on his own for a little bit.
