Well after over a years break, (although it may have been longer, I can't remember) I'm going to try and give this place another go, see if I can get back into it. So I'm going to need someone to fill me in on whats new/changed and everyone else to challenge me :P

Regarding reffing, I think I'm going to train myself up with the basics and take the test again, I've pretty much forgotten 75% of it, haha.

So yeah, hi.

Just wonderin', if I buy a Hidden Power TM for one of my 'Mons, then don't get the type rolled that I wanted, could I possibly buy another one and replace the one I have already with the newly bought one? Effectively rolling again for Hidden Power at the cost of another TM?

Nope, once you get a Hidden Power rolled, you're stuck with it forever, no matter what type you get. :[

No. When you roll for a Hidden Power you have to specify which Pokemon it is for beforehand.

No you can't, you have to say the mon it's being put on before it's rolled.

So, question. I wanted to make my return to PE2K and the URPG in a spectacular fashion by writing a capture story. But my question is: Must your Pokemon evolve after the required number of battles? Because, in the case of the Pokemon I want to write for, I love the Pokemon, but hate its evolution.

No, you can choose not to evolve it if you want and keep it as its pre-evo FOREVER.

If I recall correctly, I put a few tweaks in.
It's off a few tenths of a percent in either way.

That, and it's quite obvious after you do a few hard calcs since it uses a different but better formula.
