Which one of Ash's battles satisfied you the most, out all the battles he has encountered on his journey?

His battle with Drake in the Orange Island was in my opinion his best match. Ash showed some real skill in that battle.

I am going to suggest something a bit more recent. Ash's final battle against Paul was pretty good. It brought their rivalry to full circle and closure. Ash was able to show that his style of training was something that shouldn't be look down upon. He also showed that Chimchar/Inferape had always had the true markings of a champion. It just had to be shown a little live.

Also, that was an awesome battle with Inferape.

I always thought that Ash's battles in the Silver Conference were some of his best, especially the match between him and Gary. Not only were we treated to two of the most epic rivalries, Ash vs. Gary and Charizard vs. Blastoise, but we also got to see a lot of Ash's lesser-used Pokemon in action, and it was one battle where Pikachu wasn't used. It was also an excellent demonstration of how, in the Pokemon anime, type advantages and move effects aren't as static as the game makes them out to be.

I agree with you there. That was an excellent battle to watch and one of my favorites. I agree with you on all counts. That was some of Ash's best as he showed that he could think outside the box as you saw with him commanding Charizard to use his Flamethrower to melt the rocks while anticipating Gary's Blastoise to use Hydro Pump.

I love the battle between Charizard and Blaziken. I love both of the pokemon and it was an epic battle. I can't wait until it's on on boomerang. And it's even in the wrong region. It gave us a sneek peak to the next region and was epic.

I like the battles ash loses. It shows that just because he is the main character he doesn't have to win them all.

I have an oldie... when Ash defeated Lt. Surge. It was nice to see Pikachu finally triumph without having to evolve. Of course they've pretty much copied that idea lots of times now. xD But the original instance was very powerful!
