Wii Release Details! Pokemon Battle Revolution Video!

The Nintendo Wii will arrive in the US on November 19, 2006, for $250, just in time for the holiday shopping season. It will arrive in the Japan a little later, on December 2, 2006. The Nintendo Wii console will include: one Wii remote, one strap attachment for Wii remote, one nunchuck attachment for Wii remote, an AC adapter, an AV cable, a Wii stand, a sensor bar, a sensor bar stand, and two batteries. It also comes with the Wii Sports game, which features tennis, baseball, golf, bowling, and boxing. Other Wii console features include a photo channel which allows the ability to display digital photos through the console, news and weather channels, and a Opera web browser. A Mii Channel will allow you to create your own personal avatar by choosing different face shapes and colors, hair, eyes, hair, glasses, mouths, and so on. There's also a Wii Message Board, which allows you to message other Wii users, PC users, or cellphone users. More than 30 Wii titles will be available this year. Nintendo confirmed that they will charge $50 for their Wii titles. Another feature, the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console, will allow gamers to download classic Nintendo games, such as Mario and Zelda, for about $5 to $10.

Pokemon Battle Revolution
A new Pokemon Battle Revolution video was released, it was one of many videos of various games released during the Nintendo Wii conference in Japan. The video shows the two legendary from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Dialga and Palkia, against the two legendary Pokemon from Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, Kyogre and Groudon. Pokemon Battle Revolution is scheduled to be released in Japan on December 2006, and the US release will be at a later date.

Yippie!!! Except for the $250 price tag, but that's much better than the $500-$600 price tag of the other game system *cough*PS3*cough*.

This is gonna rock i hope like that you can buy games over the wii and they are stored in a hard drive so you don't have all the clutter, though i don't like the price.

i like the price tag, we in england have to pay like 170 quid for it, that is easy to get compared for thr 500 quid ps3 and battle revolution looks HEWT!!

I was wondering, is this game going to use the bizarre controler the Wii has or is there an alternate controller for the Wii that this will use.

Unknown at this time, but it'll probably use the Wiimote, though there might be a chance that you can use a GameCube controller as well.

Give the Wiimote a chance.

The Wiimote..? That's kinda cute. The controls have to be better than the Xbox 360 controls. I hope the Wii don't come with all that junk like the Xbox 360.

Wi-Fi, but I also read that you could use an ethernet cable through your home computer. However, you might want to double-check that.

And flames or aries and Oz Ranger, I don't want to get out of your heads. It's nice and cozy inside.
