Does Protect block Haze? Smogon doesn't include Haze on the list of moves that Protect doesn't block, but I just want to be sure... ^^;

Since Haze affects both Pokemon, I think Protect won't work o:

So I've been gone for at least 100 years, I'd like to be informed of what changes have happened in reffing differences / move calculations / whatever between now and mid '08.

Also, if I decided to come back, would I need to take a retest for my reffing license?

Well, there're a few changes...

Sleep is now only a maximum of 4 turns, instead of 7.

CON is rolled with 1-50 = smack, 51-75 = normal attack, 76-100 = snap and attack

FRZ has 25% to thaw instead of 10.

When Platinum is officially added to URPG, Hypnosis will be 60 acc.

There're probably others, but those are the main ones, I think.

I have something I want to be officially tested by someone.

It's already a known fact that if Abomasnow and Tyranitar go into battle at the same time, since Tyranitar is faster, Sandstream activates first and Snow Warning then takes over.

But, what if Abomansow is holding a Choice Scarf or Tyranitar an Iron Ball or something of the sort. Would it change anything?

I'm thinking since the speeds have changed, Snow Warning will activate first and Sandstream will take over afterwards, but, it would be nice if someone could test it.

I think there was something said about Sand Attack and Levitate once...

Well, I accidently tested it in the game, and Sand Attack DOES hit a mon with Levitate, no matter what the in-game description says

I dunno if you guys already knew this, but I'm posting it anyways ^^;

Just like Confuse Ray hits Normal-typed Pokemon.

When Ditto uses Transform, does it Transform first or does speed come into play?

If it's faster, it Transforms first. If it's slower, it Transforms second. :O

Question: If a mon uses foresight on Sableye/Spiritomb and attacks it with a fighting type move, does that count as SE?

I don't think so because it just makes them able to be hit by fighting type moves, it doesn't make them mono-dark-types. It just erases the immunity.

Since you're not immune to fighting-type moves it would make sense that you're hit super-effectively, right?
