Default The Anime Network

Does anyone get this channel? It's available through Comcast's ON-DEMAND, and is 100x better than Cartoon Network. They show UNCUT anime series, and are currently showing such great series as:

-Final Fantasy Unlimited
-Blue Seed
-Excel Saga
-Sorcerous Stabber Orphen
-Rune Soldier
-Neon Genesis Evangelion
-Samurai X (the Rurouni Kenshin OAV)
-MANY MORE!

I'm currently watching FFU, Orphen, and Eva...does anyone else get this?

Cartoon network, much like "ytv" and fox, censor too much so they could show it to little kids. I have ytv in parenthases because they did break this rule by showing Inuyasha late at night and lifting all censors. Anyway, I guess you have the best channel. lol

Yeah, I agree. Unfortunately, I don't have that channel, so I'll have to settle for Cartoon Network and all its censoring. =/

Yeah, but DVD's are really the only way that I'm able to see Pokemon, as I can't get WB. Cartoon Network is about the only channel I get with Anime on it.

Samurai X?! *drools* so jealous...

Yeah, all I've got is Cartoon Network too. Most of the animes it shows is junk, but sometimes we get the good stuff like RuroKen and .Hack//Sign looks pretty good too, but I haven't seen too much. They've put on some Gundam too. But for the love of god, TRANSFORMERS?!?!?!?! Ugh... *is massively peeved* Adult Swim probably has the best consistent anime showings. Sadly enough, I loved Trigun. *is a complete freak* I miss it so...

*oops for advertising*

Yeah, Samurai X is one of the best OVAs I've ever seen, right up there with Darkstalkers really! (and that's very hard to do)

*gets incredibly angry at the Transformers remark, since he somehow feel that it's an insult to the original series from the 80s, which is truely magnificient.*

By no means did I mean the original series. I've heard good things about it, though I've never seen it myself. My comment was on Tranformer's Armada, which is right up there with the current Pokemon Anime...

In defense of my Pokemon statement which I may be bashed for...

The first and second seasons of Pokemon were pretty good, escpecially the first, considering its audience was young kids. But now, it's just downright terrible. Repetitive, uncreative, and annoying at points. I think Hoenn has improved a little, but I haven't been watching it enough to know for sure.

Although I'm probably wrong..or maybe right, I'm guessing that some of you live in America, as I get Cartoon Network in N.Ireland, and I also have Toonami, but I don't get animes like Trigun and Final Fantasy Unlimited...though I do get stuff like DBZ, DBGT, DB, Outlaw Star and Cowboy Beebop (Both of these I never get to watch), Gundam Wing, "Ultimate Muscle"(Pathetic really, IMO like a DBZ and wrestling rip off) and one or two others.
The Anime Network sounds like an amazing channel though.
