That doesn't seem like a Pokemon name at all. Sounds like some rich guy's butler. I don't mind it, however. I can't wait to see the names for the other two.

Well, I think it's a funny pokémon and it's good they make evolutions for pokémons that only have one stage as of yet. I agree with D.2 on the name sounding like a butler, though

It makes 100% sence to me. All though its not what I expected, Bonsly is the Bonsai Pokemon and Sudowoodo is the rock Pokemon which sounds weird but Sudo-wood is "fake wood".

Yeh I was gonna mention that its from the the word Bonsai (a japanese technique for growing minitaure trees). It would be a rock type pokemon aswell, so the Bonsly is a sly Bonsai and Sudowoodo is fake wood which was mentioned above. So I think it fits perfectly!

However I did like the nickname Seedoweedo some sites gave it.

Seedoweedo?
That... doesn't make a lot of sense at all. It just doesn't.

Actually now you mention it... it doesn't does it. I guess people kept forgetting that Sudowoodo is a rock type. Crazy people...

Cheers to Bonsly and the 4th Generation!

It would be Bonslai, because of Bonzai and the pronounciation of sly

I've been pronouncing it bonslee, but bonslai makes more sense. We'll most likely have to wait until the anime to know for sure. For example, I always thought it was rayquahza, not rayquayza. I also thought metagross was pronounced with the o sounding as it does in the word floss, not as you'd pronounce the word gross.

Me too, in all of those.

I think that the people who give the names should look more closely at common words in the English language and how they're pronounced. You look at these words and naturally pronounce them the way their spelled, despite any words they're based on.

Heh. Until I saw Destiny Deoxys (I'm guessing you too) I also pronounced them "ray-KWAH-za" and "MEHT-a-GROSS" rather than "ray-KWAY-za" and "METH-a-GROHS." I probably mispronounce a few others incorrectly, too. Until the second to last episode in America (I happened to watch it ), I had been pronouncing Breloom as "BRAY-loom" instead of "breh-LOOM." Anime really needs to spell them more phonetically. Then again, I guess my "BRAY-loom" pronunciation wasn't too phonetic. Take care.
