Mystery Gift

If you have a Pocket Pikachu 2 GS and a Game Boy Color (must be a Game Boy color, because you need the infrared ports), you can link the two together to get items for your Pokemon Gold/Silver game. The picture above shows how both should be connected together, just make sure the infrared ports and facing each other. Which items you get depends on how many Watts you get in Pocket Pikachu 2 GS. The more Watts you get, the better the items. Here's the chart:

100 to 199 Watts: Berry
200 to 299 Watts: Bitter Berry
300 to 399 Watts: Great Ball
400 to 499 Watts: Max Repel
500 to 599 Watts: Ether
600 to 699 Watts: Miracle Berry
700 to 799 Watts: Gold Berry
800 to 899 Watts: Elixer
900 to 988 Watts: Revive
999 Watts: Rare Candy

Another way to Mystery Gifts is from the girl at Goldenrod City's Department Store on the 5th floor. Once you have talked to the girl and saved your game, there should be a new option in the main menu when you turn on your game, which is titles "Mystery Gift". You can use this option to get many various items. Directions: With a friend that also haves Pokemon Gold/Silver with Game Boy color and the Mystery Option available, choose the "Mystery Gift" option. Then, position the infrared ports so that they are facing each other. Its that easy. However, you can only get one item from a person per day. This way of getting Mystery Gifts is much better than the Pocket Pikachu 2 GS way because there are many more different items and room decorations through this Mystery Gift option.
